the Game Senior Show
The Senior Show is the culminating event of an intense, year-long competition among teams of students from each of Champlain’s game majors for the ultimate bragging rights!
Welcome to the Senior Show!
Our annual event takes place in person AND streams live from Alumni Auditorium on the Champlain College campus in Burlington, Vermont.
In addition to friends, family, faculty and staff, recruiters from studios like Ghost Productions, Bend Studios, Iron Galaxy, Schell Games, Execution Labs, Infinity Ward, Behaviour Interactive, Wolfjaw Studios, and Velan Studios come to join our celebration and recruit from our talented pool of graduating seniors.
Student work demonstrates the full range of incredible talent in each year’s graduating class.
It all comes down to this.
Squad Up
Each year, Game students team up to design and pitch a game prototype to the Game faculty judges. Only the top eight designs are selected to move on to full development, integrating members of eliminated teams.
It’s Game Time
Intense, year-long development culminates in a single night of incredible game demos. Students work together in a
studio environment, mastering their craft and collaboration skills, leading up to the Senior
Show.
Get Noticed
Recruiters from AAA studios are invited each year to see our students present, test out their games, and set up job interviews for potential employment. Our alumni network and Career Collaborative are a one-of-a-kind resource for breaking into the game industry.
What I love most about working with Champlain students is that they are prepared to hit the ground running when it comes to developing games. Any student coming out of their program has the tools to make an immediate positive impact to a game development studio.
